Help shape the future of the new Hampshire and Isle of Wight Trust

Updated: Nov 7

A new trust has been launched; Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. They want you to get involved in a piece of work to develop their Trust Strategy for 2025-2030.

The new strategy will guide the work they do over the next five years. The work must be developed together with our communities, staff and those that use our services. They want to hear from a broad and diverse group of people.

Two things the feedback showed the trust need to do:

  1. Deliver local, joined up care, close to homes and tailored to the needs of individuals and communities

  2. Deliver more consistent care across the area to reduce the ‘postcode lottery’ of access, experience and outcomes.

Between now and early November, you can get involved:

Find more information on their Trust Website Strategy page

 They will be:

  • gathering feedback

  • reviewing clinical information

  • health population statistics

  • reviewing national government, local authority and their health system partners’ plans.

This information and feedback will become a series of workshops. They will be in late November involving staff, partners and those with lived experience. The aim is to use them to make priorities together.

A smaller representative group will then use this work to co-produce a draft strategy. This will then be presented to the Trust Board for approval in March 2025.
