Certain patients experiencing health inequalities and struggling to access NHS dental care will be able to book dental exams with Dentaid from February 2025 onwards.
Dentaid charity works in partnership with NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight to reduce pressure on existing dental services and increase access to care for people facing difficult circumstances.
Patients who can receive support include families experiencing poverty, people at risk of homelessness, those who are vulnerable, children, and new and expectant mothers in areas at highest risk of poor dental health.
Appointments are required and must be booked by calling Dentaid on 023 8001 4450.
