The department of Health & Social Care plan to co-develop the 10-Year Health Plan with the public, patients, and staff so that everyone owns the plan and can feel the difference in their daily lives.
The consultation will include face-to-face and digital engagement to gather views from the public (aged 16+), staff, and health and care leaders.
It doesn’t matter whether you have a lot or a little to say. Your views, experiences and ideas will shape a new 10 Year Health Plan for England.
This is open to everyone. If you are a member of the public or someone who works in health and care in England, go to start here, to tell the government how the NHS needs to change.
Deadline for organisations to provide their views here is 2nd December.
UPDATE
The Healthwatch network provided feedback based on public insights through an online webinar with the 10-Year Plan team.
We participated in this work. It was submitted by Healthwatch England to NHSE for inclusion in the health and care sector organisations’ feedback to NHS Change Consultation. You can read the report:
Healthwatch Portsmouth and Healthwatch Hampshire submitted key themes from what people have contacting us about for making changes and improvement to the NHS. Here is a copy of the submissions made on 2nd December to the questions posed by NHS England:
Healthwatch Portsmouth and Healthwatch Hampshire produced a critique of the quality of the consultation organised by NHS England and have sent this to the House of Commons' Health and Social Care Committee further their enquiry which launched mid November into how the government has engaged with patients, the public and other relevant stakeholders on the 10 year health plan.
