The British Red Cross (BRC) has established the Ukraine Response Refugee Support service to provide casework support to individuals fleeing the Ukraine conflict.
The response service aims to provide practical, emotional and integration support. Both self-referrals and referrals from statutory and community organisations are accepted.
The service can help with:
Advice and support on rights and entitlements
Access to housing services
Access to health services
Short-term financial assistance
Access to education
Support with social integration
Support to open a bank account
GP registration
School registration
Signposting to local activities
The service is available nationally, but we have a local contact in the South East region which is: 0300 333 5393 or email southeastrs@redcross.org.uk.
You can find out more about the service via their website here.
